Lee’s Music store advertisement
I found this advertisement in a truck located outside of Lee’s music store in downtown, and it is advertising sales and rentals for audio visuals, equipment and installations for concerts, tradeshows, conferences, events, and staging.
The advertisement is located in the vehicle that is used to deliver their products to different locations. In this way, the message that Lee’s Music want to transmit to people can be visible in different points of the city and to be able to target other drivers as well.
In this advertisement they show mostly big images with a colourful background with only a few words about the type of service that they provide, this is in order to successfully deliver their message to other drivers without distracting them while on the road.
On the top of the advertisement, there are the different types of occasions that their products can be used for, like concerts, tradeshows, conferences, events, and staging. At the center of the advertisement is written with big letters “Audio Visual” which is the type of service that Lee’s music provides to their customers. At the bottoms is written with white big letters the type of transactions and installation that they provide accompanied with their website information with smaller letters. There are also big images of few of the products that they have, like a microphone, an audio system, lighting systems and recording equipment to give a better understanding to the public of the products that they offer.
In my opinion this is an effective form to advertise their products and services because it is concise with not too much writing and they added the big realistic images that catch the eye of the people driving in other vehicles without having to pay too much attention in order to get the message. Also, I think this is a big advantage because of the fact that the advertisement is not only in one stationary place and can be seen by many people in different locations.
I know this brand from the first month when I first arrived at Kamloops, because I brought my guitar from Mexico to practice in my spare time but unfortunately one of the strings got broken and I had to replace it. That’s when the people that I was living with recommended me and took me to Lee’s music store to get some new strings for my guitar.
Lee’s Music Audio Visual areas of expertise are lighting, video design, event planning, sound reinforcement and conference management and provides its services since early 70’s and has received multiple national and provincial rewards for their high quality products and service.
